Manga flash fic

This review contains spoilers. The characters are good, but everything is just so briefly sketched out. It could have been great if it was longer, went deeper into the backstories and psychology and was generally more ambitious.

Beautiful!

This was so unique and imaginative, with such beautiful drawing. I was hooked from the first page. A great story, great characters. It's perfect like this, but it could be the central story for a huge graphic novel with fully developed side characters and sub-plots - basically I want more please!

Good story, terrible English translation

This manga is seriously let down by diabolical English translation. It's jarring and in some places, makes no sense at all. Still, I got through it! There was no problem with the other title, but maybe think about giving this one a do-over?

Really good series of short stories. Varied and fun. I really enjoyed them. Call the writer guy 'Chaz'? He's such a loser! 😂 Love it!

Brilliant!

I loved this so much I read it and reread it straight away between work and appointments, ravenously, kinda like a demon...a proper, moving story with a strong emotional core, depth and wisdom. Beautiful artwork, too.

Genius!

This review contains spoilers. This was hilarious and brilliant right until the end. It was so refreshing to see characters who were old and hairy, it just added perfectly to the bizarre situation.

In denial? Cuteness overload!

I'm not sure how old kids are in Japan in the last year of high school - so I've convinced myself they are at least 19 in order to enjoy this sweet, sweet story. It's beautifully paced and utterly charming.

The energy of this manga is so good. The characters all have this raw, sexy innocence, like they're untarnished by the world. I really loved it!
